Is your computer freaking out or giving you ominous signs? Take slow deep breaths. Ok, it is not usually as bad as it seems. I promise. Have you restarted the computer? You would be amazed at how many problems that will fix.
If it doesn’t seem like you can shut down your computer the usual way, then you can force it off by holding the start button down with your finger for 10 seconds. Also, if your computer is not starting at all, please do this 10 second thing and then try to restart it before emailing. Many computers that seem broken are just stuck in sleep mode.

I called Eddie when my MacBook air had fallen into the sink. He didn't pick up but after leaving a voicemail he called me back within a few minutes. He kindly explained that while he does not do water damage repairs there were multiple other local places in town that did and listed a few places. I greatly appreciate when people are straightforward about what they do or don't do without having to go back and forth for forever, so I wanted to leave him a review for his excellent communication and kind demeanor.
