  • Setup networks, consult on best practices and fast speeds for small businesses, home networks

  • Repair broken LCD screens on most laptops that are not 2 in 1 tablet-like computers

  • Dispute myths created by marketers who want to scare you into buying what you don’t need

  • Remove viruses and help you keep them off

  • Upgrade your computer with a fast internal solid-state hard drive when that makes more sense than buying a new computer

  • Teach whatever you would like to know about computers or software

  • Give you critical advice when buying a new or used computer

  • I am glad to help you troubleshoot or setup other electronics equipment like TV's, camera systems, home speakers — anything technical that seems annoying and torturous.

What I don't do:

I used to have a helpful list of stuff here that I DON’T DO, so you don’t waste your time calling me. But Google search gets confused and sends people to my site for any services mentioned on my site whether I do them or not. The link below goes to a Google Doc, offsite. It’s safe.

We were suspecting something was wrong with our computer, so installed an anti-virus protection program, which only made things worse! We found The Computer Guy online and reached out by phone. (Online "chats" are NOT helpful to us.) Eddie was SO helpful and easy to talk to, and we quickly came up with a plan. To be able to just drop off the computer, have it analyzed and receive an easy -to-understand explanation of our problems, and then have the repairs done by the next day was FANTASTIC! His fees are very reasonable and we will continue to use his services in the future. HIGHLY recommend!!

Reliable, Trustworthy, Responsive & Effective. Eddie is the real deal. I have a time critical deadline & complex business matter. My less than new laptop power port shorted & failed. Eddie managed my replacement machine, recovered all of my data from the old hard drive, migrated & restored all of my documents and records to the replacement laptop in record time. He also provided the support remotely the next day. I could not be more satisfied. I'll meet my deadline with time to spare.

I called Eddie recently to ask advice on a new laptop purchase. He called back very soon after and quickly determined my needs and what I mostly use it for. Within an amazingly short time, he emailed with some links to his recommendations that were within my price range. I'd been looking online and in stores and, as a senior who is not in the habit of doing this, was spending a lot of time and getting more confused. Eddie helped me nail it! He transferred everything from my old laptop to the new one in less than a day. What I appreciated most was that he was so patient to answer my questions and explain things clearly. He gave great advice and saved me a lot of money in that I did not have to purchase some things the larger retail shops kept telling me I needed.

Fast. Affordable. QUICK!
