Macs - A quick word on Apple, Mac computers. Yes, they are expensive. A Windows PC that will be viable for the next 5-7 years will cost around $700. A 14 inch Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD Drive (my recommended specs for any new computer) is at least $1600. It depends on how you use your computer. Most of us are just putzing around. What you get in a Mac is sturdiness, reliability, the best support number of all consumer products, a power cord that isn’t made to snap off, and years of unremarkable usage. New Macs are however, no longer upgradable with memory and hard drive space, so that is totally stupid and unredeemable. The next time you bring me your computer for virus removal, an annoying printer install, or when Windows updates go wrong, ask, and I'll give you my Mac rap.
Don’t take this as me saying that I think we should break up!

We were suspecting something was wrong with our computer, so installed an anti-virus protection program, which only made things worse! We found The Computer Guy online and reached out by phone. (Online "chats" are NOT helpful to us.) Eddie was SO helpful and easy to talk to, and we quickly came up with a plan. To be able to just drop off the computer, have it analyzed and receive an easy -to-understand explanation of our problems, and then have the repairs done by the next day was FANTASTIC! His fees are very reasonable and we will continue to use his services in the future. HIGHLY recommend!!

Reliable, Trustworthy, Responsive & Effective. Eddie is the real deal. I have a time critical deadline & complex business matter. My less than new laptop power port shorted & failed. Eddie managed my replacement machine, recovered all of my data from the old hard drive, migrated & restored all of my documents and records to the replacement laptop in record time. He also provided the support remotely the next day. I could not be more satisfied. I'll meet my deadline with time to spare.

I called Eddie recently to ask advice on a new laptop purchase. He called back very soon after and quickly determined my needs and what I mostly use it for. Within an amazingly short time, he emailed with some links to his recommendations that were within my price range. I'd been looking online and in stores and, as a senior who is not in the habit of doing this, was spending a lot of time and getting more confused. Eddie helped me nail it! He transferred everything from my old laptop to the new one in less than a day. What I appreciated most was that he was so patient to answer my questions and explain things clearly. He gave great advice and saved me a lot of money in that I did not have to purchase some things the larger retail shops kept telling me I needed.

Fast. Affordable. QUICK!
